COMPETITION TERMS & CONDITIONS

Terms & Conditions

1. The promoter is Northern Beaches Council. 725 Pittwater Road, Dee Why 2099. Telephone: 1300 434 434 ABN: 57 284 295 198
2. The starting date of the promotion is Thursday 18 January 2024, 12am. The closing date for entries is on Tuesday 23 January 2024, 11:59pm.
3. To enter via Facebook entrants must like the @sunrun.beachescouncil Facebook page, like the Facebook competition post and tag a friend within that post. To enter via Instagram entrants must follow the @sunrun.beachescouncil Instagram account, like the Instagram competition post and tag a friend within that post.
4. To enter, entrants must like the Sun Run Facebook page and like the Facebook competition post and tag a friend they want to run with on the Facebook competition post, or follow the Sun Run Instagram account and like the Instagram competition post and tag a friend they want to run with in the Instagram competition post.
5. Each person may only enter the competition once.
6. Entrants must be at least 18 years old.
7. Council will not accept entries which are illegal, derogatory, disrespectful or discriminatory in nature or may otherwise bring, or be likely to bring Council or the event into disrepute.
8. The winners will be selected by random draw from all valid entrants at Northern Beaches Council Balgowlah Depot, 46-48 Balgowlah Rd on Wednesday 24 January 2024, 10am.
9. The winners will be contacted via social media message and asked to provide their email address and phone number for the purpose of the competition.
10. If the winners cannot be contacted with reasonable attempts and have not responded within 24 hours of the draw, a new winner will be drawn.
11. The winners will be announced on the Sun Run Facebook page and Instagram account. Entrants acknowledge and agree that their name and response will be published in such a manner.
12. There are two prizes, each containing two entries into the Sun Run 2024 that will be awarded to two separate people. One via Facebook and one via Instagram.
13. The Sun Run prize is not transferable and not redeemable for cash. The prize is not valid in conjunction with any other offer or privilege.
14. Northern Beaches Council employees and their immediate families are not permitted to enter the competition.
15. Northern Beaches Council reserve the right to exercise full decision-making powers and any decision made by Council is final.
16. Unless requested otherwise, Northern Beaches Council reserves the right to publicly publish the names of prize winner for the purposes of promoting this competition now and in perpetuity.
17. Northern Beaches Council accepts no responsibility for difficulties experienced in submitting an entry.
18. Entrants are deemed to accept these terms and conditions by entering the competition.
