Road closures

Major roads along the event course will be closed between certain times:

  • Dee Why: 3.30 – 9am
  • Curl Curl: 5.30 – 9am
  • Freshwater: 5.30 – 10am
  • Queenscliff: 5.30 – 10am
  • Manly: 3.30 – 11am

Residents located where road closures are in place are advised to travel before the closures start or after the roads have re-opened. If you need to drive during the road closures, please ensure you park your vehicle outside of the event course. Please see all road closures below.

Special event clearways (parking restrictions)

Special event clearways will be in place from 3am until 9am. Clearways are strict ‘no-parking’ zones, even if you have a resident or mobility parking permit. Please check signage carefully when parking, particularly the night before the event as vehicles left in a signposted clearway will be towed and fees will apply.

If your vehicle is towed, use the Find My Car website to find its location, or alternatively call the NSW Government Traffic Information Line on 132 701.

Vehicle crossover points

Vehicle crossover points have been established to facilitate resident access (where possible).  To ensure the safety of participants, these points will be closed to vehicles whilst participants pass through. During this time there will be no vehicle access from the following areas:

  • Dee Why and North Curl Curl – residents between the course and the coastline – no access while crossovers closed
  • Curl Curl and Freshwater – residents of cul-de sac roads off the western side of the course – no access until roads reopen
  • Queenscliff – residents between the course and the coastline – no access while crossover closed

The crossover points are listed below. These points will be managed by Police and traffic controllers to allow motorists to safely cross the course up to the latest possible time before participants pass through.
